About Alyson
Alyson was born and raised in Hawai'i on the island of O'ahu. She and her husband Bob moved to Nevada in 2002. A year later they found out they were pregnant and Alyson's journey into birth began. She immersed herself in the entire birth process and found that it was something she loved. Once her son was born she decided to pursue birth as a career and became a Doula and Childbirth Educator.

Philosophy of Birth
Alyson believes in the intuitive power of a woman to birth her children. She trusts in a woman's body to do what it needs with minimal intervention. She sees birth as a beautiful and sacred act, the birth of not only a child, but of a family.
